You are invited to join this circular hike by the Meetup group "Walking, Talking, maybe a Picknick". This is a great opportunity to walk through the Brabant forest. 😊
Elevation up to 70 meters.

After drink
Unfortunately in this village the last pub recently closed. Not that it was great fun with a grumpy old lady. So the talking happens during hike or transport. 😊

10:10 Assembly, just outside the Sint Joris Weert train station.

Intro
We're going to hike 20+km through the Brabant forest.
The forest has varied terrain, many small hills and both large alleys and winding footpaths.
It will also shield us against too much wind.

As this will be a typical autumn weekend with recent drop in temperature earlier on October, the trees may have followed by shedding their leaves. So there may be heaps of leaves on the ground. Perhaps we come across some mushrooms as well.

Start, assembly and finish location
We will start and end at station Sint Joris Weert.
Please be on time as we will leave at 10:10 sharp.

By car
Yes this is possible. Be advised it is possible to park your car next to station Sint Joris Weert.
Again, no waiting for late comers.

The hike and your preparation
This 20+km hike will take approx 5.5 hours, including a bring-your-own-lunch and shorter breaks. Please bring your smile, hat, warm sweather, and enough water and your lunch.

The weather forecast for now suggests cloudy with morning 7°C and afternoon 12 °C. There is no mention of rain! Anyway make sure to carry enough water or a warm drink.
