Eclips walk

You are invited to join this short one way hike by the Meetup group "Walking, Talking, maybe a Picknick".

Intro
We're going to hike 2 km from the border of Linkebeek, into Uccle, just before twilight until darkness.
But mostly we will try to catch the eclips, somewhere in the vicinity of station Hollebeek.
For some this may be either or both a physics and metaphysical experience.

Special request
Btw, as external sources have designated this an 'eclips' area, we may not be alone. Please pay respect to the land and if there are crops, do not trample these.

Start and assembly location
We assemble on the north side outside of the train station Holleken. We will leave at 18:45.
A train will depart from Brussels Central at 18;18 and arrive at 18:39.

By car
Why would you? 😉

Dogs, cats, other animal
This time no pets allowed.

The hike and your preparation
This 2 km hike will take approx 2.5 hours. If you have, bring your eclips glasses in order not to damage your eyes,
Afterwards we will walk in the dark, you may want to bring a headlamp.

Endpoint
After the eclips we will walk into Uccle to the nearest bus stop.
Alternatively there will be a train back into Brussels at 21:39.

Weather
The weather forecast suggests blue sky, 27 - 31 °C. There is no mention of rain. Anyway make sure to carry water.

To cover my costs as a Meetup organiser I'm going to ask for a voluntary calendar year contribution.
