What we're about

This Group is for anybody interested in the Jewishness of the Gospel. We are open to meeting and forming or joining messianic congregations or just exploring more things Jewish from a Christian perspective. http://www.ConvertedJew.com

This group is intended to be a member-run group, not one of those top-down groups where one organizer decides everything. In other words, the group will have only as many activities as you, the members, collectively suggest and organize. The more you pitch in, the more recreation choices you will have.

Celebrate Shabbat Liturgy - Livermore

St. Francis Of Assisi, Anglican Province of Christ the Kin

http://www.britahavah.net/

Brit Ahavah is a small peripatetic (wandering) congregation in the Tri-Valley for the past 17 years. We have rented in Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, and now back in Livermore. We rent space Saturday morning at 193 Contractors Ave, Livermore.

Our weekly service uses the common Jewish liturgical framework but adjust the components as needed to reflect Y'Shua, especially during the High Holy Days. We speak/sing the Hebrew and then repeat the component in English.

We follow the service with Oneg (potluck lunch using koshered foods).

We pray that, in celebrating the L-rd’s appointed times, you will experience how each shabbat and festival reflects an aspect of the fulfillment of G-d’s plan of redemption. We hope this will bring you into a deeper relationship with G-d and a greater understanding of his written word and promises. There is so much to revel in learning about the L-rd.

Let's get together for Shabbat! fellowship, prayer, bible study, testimony

The fourth commandment requires us to rest on the seventh day of the week. On Shabbat we get together to observe this day the same way it was done in the past and continues to be for those who walk in obedience to God's Word. It is a feast day, so let's celebrate! A day in which we rejoice before the presence of God, fellowship, worship, prayer, testimony, and study of the Word. Learning from each other and sharing what God has been doing in our lives. We meet until sunset, but of course you can come and go at any time. We will have drinks and food to share through out the day. Please get in touch with me if you have any questions or would like to join us in observance of the Sabbath.
