Abenaki Equinox & Emerson Brook Forest Overnight Stay & Workday

Details

Join the Ko'asek Traditional Band of the Sovereign Abenaki Nation for their yearly family-friendly equinox gathering and land celebration. The event begins at noon with an opening ceremony, followed by a potluck lunch and activities.
After the gathering, head to Gilsum for an overnight stay at The Sustainability Project's Emerson Brook Forest Outdoor Center. Bring sleeping bags & mats and spend the night in the soon-to-be completed building or camping at the Center. Dinner and breakfast will be provided.
The next morning, join volunteers to help with a community workday from 9-noon getting the site ready for The Sustainability Project's upcoming Music & Art in the forest event on 10/1.
Please call or text 603-209-7272 to confirm overnight stay so we can plan accommodations and meals.
