Journey: A free concert

You’re invited! ‘Journey’ shares songs that capture through music aspects of our inner path towards happiness, freedom, kindness, peace - universals that lie at the heart of every human life. Come along to this free admission concert on Auckland's Tamaki Drive - the evening has the simple purpose of bringing us all together in a spirit of oneness and peace. Music and meditation together greatly brighten our lives and our world, and our songs at this Monday night interactive concert are drawn from the vast musical legacy of the late musician/composer Sri Chinmoy. One of India’s luminaries and a tireless worker for world peace, Sri Chinmoy saw spiritual music as a powerful way of uplifting, uniting and inspiring humanity – he was a great believer in the inner beauty and goodness of the human heart, and saw the deepening peace in each individual as a necessary pre-condition for any real and lasting peace in the outer world.
