Whether you are a support worker, support coordinator participant, or in a caring role, come and connect with potential supports and clients.

The importance of the saying “no man is an Island” has been proven to be why many of us need to make a collective effort to achieve professional and personal success. For many individuals who have succeeded in their careers, the causes have primarily been attributed to the strong networking channels they have created over time.

We will meet at the Kallangur Tavern at 6 pm. The table will be under the name Rae.

This is an excellent opportunity to network and build strong working relationships in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Support workers new to the industry will find a plethora of information and support from colleagues and providers.

We will meet opposite Baaia Cafe at Sandgate at 9 am. We will leave at 9.10. We can walk for approximately 45 minutes on the cement path (suitable for wheelchairs; please consider your mobility needs as it can be a busy path)

We will meet at Baaia at 10 am for those not walking. The table is under the name Rae.

We will then head to Baaia cafe for coffee/brunch to continue chatting.

Networking involves developing and maintaining connections with individuals and then mutually benefitting from this developed relationship.
