What we’re about
This group is for anyone interested in creating garden havens, xeriscape (saving water), growing food, flowers, trees, perennials, annuals, starting plants from seeds, organic practices, supporting pollinators and wildlife, finding ways to extend the season, and even gardening with limited time.
Xeriscape does not mean just rock!
All skill levels are welcome, and hopefully we can learn from each other. I'm open to ideas.
There is so much to learn about our unique growing climate and I'm currently cultivating my own garden areas into a more productive and sustainable landscape, while figuring out ways to keep things affordable.
I have a townhouse in Arvada so, limited space, a hydroponic garden indoors, and am also working to try to make my HOA common area more sustainable.
I have also learned some new and unusual methods of organic gardening I would love to share.
I have a degree in landscape architecture and over 40 years experience growing and designing in Colorado.
