What we’re about
20s, 30s, and 40s (younger) adventure group, primarily focused around Skiing, Snowboarding, and the Outdoors. Lowest cost trips. Primarily based out of Philadelphia area, but with members who travel with us from all over USA. Goal is for new club members to have a sense of community and to experience awesome trips to amazing mountains together. Snowboarding, Skiing, Mountain Biking (mtb), Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Hiking, Rock Climbing, floating, happy hours, etc.
Most trip coordination is done via Facebook Messenger. Please send a message to John Harper with userID jph183psu on Facebook Messenger so we can communicate easier. Often times people's Meetup settings aren't set correctly to receive emails, and if we send you a Facebook Messenger message first, it goes into a hidden section.
Please check your Meetup messenger every once in a while too, especially if you hope to attend a trip or meetup and haven't seen any communication about it.
We have some "sister" groups based in Philly, Boston, NYC, Denver with a lot of overlapping members that we hope to publish trips and events with from time to time.

BLUE MOUNTAIN SNOWBOARD/SKI DAY
Blue Mountain Valley Lodge, Blue Mountain Valley Lodge Rd, Kunkletown, PA, USBLUE MOUNTAIN SATURDAY!!! Time to dust off the snowboards, and sharpen the skis.... Let's do some runs together! With limited terrain, be ready to doge the newbies tumbling and crashing down the slopes. Blue Mountain is on the Ikon Pass, or buy your own lift tickets.
We have a Facebook Messenger chat to help coordinate on the mountain, and to help coordinate potential carpools. Get there whenever you like, but we will plan a meetup at 11:30 at the bottom base "Valley Lodge" (near the bottom of Challenge Express lift) at 11:30 to take the lift up together, do a run as a group, and then anyone can take a lunch break as a group if they wish, while others will keep on riding through.

Rock Climbing at Reach: Top-rope Tuesday!

You all voted to keep this trip to the second weekend in December, and we listened! This trip usually marks the official start of the Xplore N More (XNM) ski season.. The best group for people in their 20s, 30s and 40s! If you are contemplating going on trips with members this winter, the goal of this early season weekend is to give people a chance to get to know each other ahead of time in a relaxed atmosphere, on a short weekend.
We are are heading to the town of Killington, Vermont. Since there are often people with Ikon, Epic and Indy Passes within the group, people often ski at both Killington and Okemo, or both. The drive to Okemo is only about 30 minutes from Cascades Lodge and people often carpool.
LODGING: Cascades Lodge at Killington
Like the last few years, we have the entire hotel to ourselves! We are only putting two people per room so that no one needs to share a bed, unless a king is requested (first come first serve). We will pair you up if you are signing up individually as most people do. Please answer if you are open to a triple room since a few rooms have extra beds (some money would be refunded if 3 in a room after the trip). This can help get more people on the trip as we have always filled the hotel. This price includes Saturday group pizza/salad dinner. If you are looking for a single room, or to put three or four in a room, reach out for pricing.

LIFT TICKETS:
If you are interested in purchasing an Ikon Pass or Epic Pass, reach out to John to see what special XNM group deals are available. Killington is on the Ikon Base Pass with 5 days included. Okemo is unlimited on the Epic Local Pass and 2 or 3 day Epic Passes may also be used. Most of our trips will be on Ikon for this upcoming season.
