SALT LAKE CITY SKI RESORTS:

• Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude (Ikon Base Pass Resorts)
• Snowbasin (Ikon Full Passholders, both skiers and snowboarders)
• Alta and Deer Valley (Ikon Full Passholders.. but ONLY SKIERS)

Salt Lake City is undoubtedly the best city for skiers/snowboarders in the US. With the close proximity of the city to the airport and ski resorts, reasonably priced lodging options, as well as a plethora of ski resorts, Salt Lake City is the perfect snow destination! We will be staying for 8 nights with 7 days of skiing/boarding!

If you prefer a first half or second half of this trip only, it is possible, but the plan here is to keep "advertising" of this trip as a week-long trip. It gets complicated with different flights, carpooling, etc. Send a message to John to keep track of which half of the trip you prefer and we will keep tabs and put you in touch with potential roommates.

LODGING:
We will be staying in 2 person "suites" with kitchenettes and living rooms at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Midvale/Sandy. There are direct busses that go to Solitude and Brighton outside, and there is typically a low cost shuttle to take us to Alta and Snowbird on Friday-Sunday. Hot Breakfast buffet is included each morning, dinner is included on Wednesday night. There are some bars and restaurants walking distance in the area as well. There is a pool and hot tub at Homewood Suites. The price for lodging is for two people in a room with two double beds (each person gets their own bed), or with two people in a king bed (in its own room). We have a few different types of suites and rooms but all are similar with the kitchenettes and some are connecting rooms for groups of 4 (but with 2 separate individual rooms).

PAYMENT/COST:
Send full payment or $200 deposit ($561 total amount) to reserve your spot... Remainder of $561 due on November 1st.
Cancellations after October 15th incur a $10 penalty, and after November 15th, a $20 penalty, and only refunded with replacement.

FLIGHTS/TRANSPORTATION/CARPOOLS:
Link to spreadsheet is below which will help coordinate flights to Salt Lake City, but ultimately booking of flights is your responsibility. You will be responsible for arranging ground transportation for yourself, but we will try to coordinate rental cars as a group (via spreadsheet linked as well as a facebook messenger chat to be set up). Technically you can Uber to Homewood Suites and take the busses/shuttles to the mountain each day (if you only plan to visit Solitude/Brighton/Snowbird/Alta). You will need a car/carpool to get to Snowbasin and Deer Valley if you have Ikon Full Pass and wish to hit those mountains.

LIFT TICKETS:
Most trip attendees will have Ikon Passes or Ikon Base Passes. If you are planning to purchase an Ikon Pass, reach out to John for more information on our exclusive group pricing and programs. We do NOT have group discounted individual mountain lift tickets for this trip specifically, but with just this one trip, it most likely makes sense to buy an Ikon Pass.
