Mountain Biking at Trexler

Trexler Nature Preserve really is unlike any other area in Southeastern Pennsylvania for mountain biking. It is a much more open meadow-type area with some safari-like dirt trails. There is much less wooded areas than most mountain biking locations in this region with a lot less rocks and tree roots than other local areas, so you can somewhat ride faster than you otherwise normally would. There are a lot of hard packed dirt trails with berms and some tame jumps if you wish to test your fate (or you can just ride around them if you don’t want). “Broken Arrow” is a fan-favorite switchback downhill trail, with a long climb back up the gravel fire-road. There are some hills, but they aren’t super steep.

This is a good place for both intermediate and advanced riders. As this is a group ride, we will keep a moderate pace. We may split into two groups depending on who signs up. Ashley will be happy to ride with some people who might be a little slower (she doesn't like trying to keep up with me).

It is also a great place to hike, if you have never been, but we are setting this up as a mountain bike event, so you will be on your own if you wish to hike.

As always with Xplore N More, you are participating at your own risk, but we encourage safe riding and wearing helmets. Also a wristband with personal information / emergency contact is a good idea.

Parking: We will be parking at what google calls: Mill Creek Road Parking Lot - Trexler Game Preserve but it is towards the end of "N Range Utility Rd" which is a gravel bumpy road.
Park at 11am. Be ready to ride by 11:15/11:20.

We will head out to grab drinks and a bite afterwards.
