We start with introductions and conversation and select various activities to vary the pace a bit.
This week and next if people are up for it, we will look at excerpts from the abridged ( For upper intermediate Arabic learners) Kuwaiti novel The Bambu Shoot about the half Filipino half Kuwaiti boy who returns to Kuwait to find his place. Addresses some of the social issues in the Gulf.

Various people show up every week, from relative newcomers to native speakers. Our goal is to develop a regular group of people at a lower intermediate level and above who can have a basic conversation ( even if not fully fluent). We are supportive and can help if you have difficulty getting an idea across.
