We start with introductions and conversation and select various activities to vary the pace a bit.
We have been examining the writings of Al-Jahiz, a renowned literary figure from the Abbasid Golden Age. Ramy, a regular member here, has a new material out about him. He has an excellent website www.easyarabicnews.com that links to his video.

But we may move on to something new soon.
Various people show up every week, from relative newcomers to native speakers. Our goal is to develop a regular group of people at a lower intermediate level and above who can have a basic conversation ( even if not fully fluent). We are supportive and can help if you have difficulty getting an idea across. Native speakers and heritage speakers are welcome.
