Schifflange Food-Truck Festival (10km hike and food)

Hello friends!

An almost religious event is happening this weekend in Schifflange.
And for different people for different reasons!

Some fans of the "Eurovision Song Contest" may want to go on Saturday already for the public viewing of the great final on the Place de la Liberté.

For us, mainly Jörg, it is about food!

The "6th International Street Food Festival" opened today and will close Sunday night with a big party.

We will meet in Schifflange at 9:30 and go for a 10km walk, partially in a beautiful forest, partially in the reddest part of "Terre Rouge" in the south of Luxembourg.
We will do only short breaks to take a sip from our water bottles, and instead of a lunch break or picnic, we will end at the street food festival and enjoy food from various countries.

On the way from the train station to the forest we will pick up a friend and her lovely dog Chianti.

Meeting point:
We're going to meet in Schifflange at the train station. There might be limited to no parking space available, although on Google Maps it looks as if there is plenty of parking around.

Please consider at least 10-15 minutes of driving in circles until you find a spot.

I highly recommend to use public transport, also because I'm sure they serve lots of different beers and other beverages there.

Public Transport:
You can take train RB 6709, leaving Gare Centrale at 9:02 towards Esch/Alzette. It will arrive in Schifflange at 9:23
