Rumelange (16km) + Museum

Hi All,

We talked a lot about Luxembourg's mining past on our hikes. The museum days (https://www.luxembourgmuseumdays.lu/?lang=en) offer the possibility to combine hike with a related museum.

Rumelange has 2 autopedestres. Combining them will get us to 16km. The trails look fine. Not flat but not too challenging (for me). The second trail finishes near the museum (https://mnm.lu/). So who wants, can visit the museum afterwards. They offer some guided tours for that day. However, I don't know if we'll make it on time for one.

Lunchbreak? You all know me well. We will have one somewhere along the trail.

Public transport: 508 direction "Ottange, Pl de Moncontour" from Luxembourg Gare Rocade at 10:10. Leave at "Rumelange, Gare Routière".

Parking: There is a larger parking near the meeting point. Try "Rue des Martyrs".

Please be mindful of keeping the cars clean. Just because we hikers might be dirty after the hike, doesn't means the cars should become dirty as well. Discuss with your driver about the museum visit.
