Join Live Share and Care (with Adventures Unlimited) for a weekend trekking adventure that combines nature exploration and community care.
Inspired by our previous successful events like "Walk for Nature, Dine for Inclusion" and "City Walk: From Gardens to Heartlands", this adventure promises to be a fulfilling experience.

Whether you are a seasoned trekker or a beginner looking to connect with like-minded individuals, this event is open to all who share a passion for exploring outdoor activities, old school foodcourt and senior folks in need , making a positive impact. We will walk along East coast park beach to Tanjong Rhu Lookout Tower ending at old Golden Mile food center. Supporting Pack2treat food distribution for senior folks at Geylang Bahru Come join us for a memorable weekend filled with adventure, camaraderie, and a sense of purpose.

Our journey begins at Thomson MRT, leading us into the peaceful trails of MacRitchie Reservoir. For 11km, we walk through nature — reminding ourselves that Singapore’s greatest strength has always been community.

But the real purpose of the walk lies beyond the trail.

At Shunfu Food Centre, we will savour the old-school flavours that many seniors from Blk 170 Toa Payoh still remember and long for — simple dishes that carry memories of kampung days, hard work, and a lifetime of stories.

Through Pack2Treat, these meals become more than food. They become a small gesture of love for 80 elderly residents, while also supporting the hardworking older hawkers who keep these traditional tastes alive.

This walk also celebrates the generous spirit of the Live Share & Care community, whose quiet acts of giving make these meals possible.

From forest trail to hawker table, every step reminds us that kindness grows when people walk together.

Because sometimes the most meaningful journey is not the 11km we complete —
but the smiles we deliver at the end of the walk.

From Marina Barrage, where courage and vision turned water scarcity into resilience, we journey through Gardens by the Bay, a living reminder that Singapore can grow into a true City in Nature.

Along the way we pause at Clifford Pier, remembering the forefathers who arrived with little but hope, building the foundations of the nation we now call home. Passing Fullerton and Esplanade, we see how far that journey has brought us — a vibrant global city shaped by resilience, unity and care for one another.

As our walk ends, we gather to continue Dr Marie Ang self-care sharing starting with the sensation of Touch at AU office — a reminder that caring for our body, mind and community gives us the strength to continue their legacy.

Because when we care for ourselves and each other, we can all stand up for Singapore and keep her story strong for generations to come. 🇸🇬

Our journey begins with an 11km loop through the lush trails of MacRitchie Reservoir Park, where nature reminds us that life grows stronger when it is nurtured together.

After the trail we gather for brunch at Toa Payoh West Market ,a haven for the traditional food lover — humble, timeworn, and rich with the flavours of old Singapore. Every stall feels like a tribute to heritage, comfort, and recipes worth preserving.But the real purpose of the walk begins after lunch. We continue to Christian Outreach to the Handicapped – Emmanuel Activity Centre in Toa Payoh, where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn daily skills, find friendship, and discover dignity in community.

Founded in 1979 by missionary Reverend Alice Shae after she struggled to find support for her own daughter with disabilities, the organisation has spent more than four decades building a community of acceptance, empowerment and hope for persons with special needs. Their vision is simple but powerful: a compassionate and inclusive society where every individual — regardless of ability — is valued and given the opportunity to thrive.

Depending on the number of participants, we may split into two groups — one visiting Block 171 and another visiting Block 161 (Autism Centre) — before regrouping again. This small visit is not just a tour, but an invitation.

An invitation to serve.

Many of these centres depend greatly on volunteers who can spend time befriending clients, guiding simple activities, and offering companionship. Sometimes what they need most is not expertise — but presence. This walk hopes to plant a seed. Perhaps after the trail, the lunch, and the visit, some of us may feel a quiet calling — to return not just as visitors, but as volunteers. Because in the end, the most meaningful journeys are not measured in kilometres… but in the hearts we choose to walk beside.
