Hello and welcome to the April Yorkshire Azure User Group event!

For those that are new to our community, we are a diverse technical community hosting events across South Yorkshire on a monthly basis with some of the best minds in the industry. Everyone is welcome regardless of technical background, so feel free to join us for the evening - if you have any questions, just reach out to one of the organisers!

This month's event is hosted by our good friends over at Valorem Reply in Electric Works, Sheffield - the venue is a 2 minute walk from Sheffield station. As usual food and drink will be provided.

Session #1 - Implementing an Azure Onboarding Pipeline (not just sub-vending) by Matt Garner, Senior Consultant @ Reply Valorem.

They’ll be some context about what our objective was, how we onboarded teams to Azure, some bits around AVMs and how the thing looks and works in practice.

Session #2 - Laying the Groundwork: Deploying Azure Landing Zones with Terraform by Baz Rashed, Cloud Architect at IT Experts UK

In this session, we’ll cover the basics of getting started with Terraform and demonstrate how to deploy Azure landing zones using Infrastructure as Code, enabling consistency, scalability, and governance from day one.
