Welcome to the Yorkville IL Area Gardens/Growers/Farmstands + Homesteaders Meetup group. A place to connect with local growers, gardeners, homesteaders, educators + local food sources.
This group is for all lovers of gardening and growing food, from beginners to seasoned experts who share a common interest in community sufficiency and food abundance, as well as for those who are interested in connecting with local growers within and around their community.
Whether you have a small garden, a rooftop garden, a family garden, a food forest, edible landscape, a pollinator garden, or you run a garden through your organization, have a local farming/flower business, or have a large homestead, or you simply want to learn where to get started, this group is for you to network and share tips, tricks, and experiences with fellow gardening enthusiasts, and most importantly, for our members to build a community of "food abundance." Let's connect, learn, and grow together in our shared passion for cultivating beautiful and productive gardens in our community.
