This is You Are More Creative Than You Think, an event for those interested in delving into Creativity, Mindfulness & Fostering a Sense of Community.
The Birth of the Event
On the eve of December 31st, on a year marked by another lonely New Year celebrations and remote work disconnect, I took matters into my own hands. Late at night, I went onto the London subreddit, inviting kindred spirits to an event at my Peckham workspace, where creative ideas, big or small, could come together.
To my astonishment, the response was overwhelming. Over 250 messages flooded in, prompting the birth of You Are More Creative Than You Think on January 1st 2023. Since then, our journey has been filled with events, the addition of two incredible team members, and a commitment to creativity, mindfulness, and community.
Our gatherings feature inspiring guest speakers, diverse ideation sessions, and mindfulness led sessions, all within a vibrant, plant-filled Peckham space with a cocktail bar and endless tea, coffee, and biscuits.
Amidst the challenges of 2023, these events became my anchor, making me stronger, happier, and kinder. I extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who joined our group and attended the events last year and cannot wait for more of these events in 2024. I believe there is creativity and mindfulness within us all, and through these gatherings, we're crafting a beautiful community in the heart of a city teeming with beauty and kindness when together.
You Are More Creative Than You Think remains a free event, welcoming all to share in the warmth of community, conversation, in a safe, uplifting environment.
