You N Me’ Cafe was created from a feeling many people know too well.
- The feeling of being surrounded by people, but still feeling alone.
- The feeling of having so much to say, but not knowing who would truly listen.
- The feeling of pretending everything is okay, because explaining your heart feels harder than carrying it quietly.
This cafe was built for the person who has been strong for too long.
For the person who celebrates quietly because nobody is around to cheer for them.
For the person who is tired of being judged, questioned, corrected, compared, or given advice when all they needed was someone to simply listen.
Welcome to You N Me’ Cafe — BC’s First Humanity Cafe.
This Meetup group is for the events hosted inside the cafe: board game nights, solo meetups, community lunches, honest conversation circles, business networking nights, and simple gatherings that help strangers become a little less strange to each other and with the only purpose of bringing community together. Have friends and want to join with them? Great! Solo and have no one to go with? Even better. Because here, being alone, is actually a good thing as you make soo many new connections.
Also, this cafe is not only open during events.
It is open for real life, too.
