Community Lunch - Potluck

No one should have to eat alone. 🤍

After moving to Canada, I spent most of my life doing things alone: eating alone, figuring life out alone, carrying responsibilities alone. And I know there are so many people silently feeling the same way. That’s one of the biggest reasons behind creating You N Me’ Cafe. Not just as a coffee shop, but as a place where people can sit together, share a meal, have real conversations, and feel like they belong somewhere again. So every Sunday, we’re creating a table where strangers can become familiar faces, conversations can happen naturally, and nobody has to ask, “Who do I have to go with?”

Come alone. You’ll never feel alone here. ☕✨ 🗓
This Sunday's theme is potluck:
Bring a dish that means something to you.
It could be:
• A family recipe
• A favorite dish from your culture
• Homemade food
• A fruit tray
• A salad
• Sandwiches from Safeway
• Cookies from Costco
Nothing fancy. No pressure.
Just bring something you'd genuinely enjoy sharing.
We'll put everything on one table, share a meal, hear each other's stories, and remind ourselves that strangers don't stay strangers for very long when they break bread together.
This event isn't really about food.
It's about creating a table where nobody has to eat alone.


Drinks will be available from the café


$10 per person ($5 towards cafe credit for your choice of drink)
