About us

About the group

This group is for young adults ages 18–25 who want low-pressure, real-life connection in a small group setting.

It’s for people who:

  • Have trouble making friends
  • Feel nervous showing up alone
  • Want a more relaxed way to meet others

This is not a dating group. There’s no expectation to be super outgoing. The goal is simple, comfortable hangouts where people can meet and connect naturally.

Events will be held around Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

To keep things comfortable, each event is limited to 3–8 people.

What to expect

  • We meet at a public location
  • Simple introductions (name + a couple things you like)
  • Optional games depending on the event
  • You can talk, listen, or just hang out

No forced activities or awkward icebreakers.

You don’t need to be outgoing, and you’re free to leave at any time if it feels like too much.

If you connect with someone, you’re welcome to exchange contact info, but there’s no pressure.

Ongoing meetups

Hangouts will usually be hosted once or twice a month, typically on Saturdays or Sundays.

Meetups will be led by Exavier or Daniel, depending on who creates the event. We’ll be assisting each other with certain events, Canbryz will also help with some events, and sometimes all three of us will run an event together.

This group is all about showing up as you are, meeting new people, and letting connections happen naturally.

If you’re nervous about coming alone, that’s completely understandable. Many people joining the group may feel the same way, so there’s no pressure to fit in right away. Just come as you are and take things at your own pace.
