Service Saturday: Volunteer with Your Group to Help Older Neighbors 🍂

Make a difference this fall by joining A Little Help’s Service Saturday in Metro Denver on November 15!

Gather your friends, coworkers, family, or community group for a fun, meaningful day helping older adults with fall yardwork — raking leaves, trimming branches, and preparing older adults' homes for winter. It’s an easy way to give back, get outdoors, and build connections across generations. Note: You must register through our website to participate.

âś… How it works:

  • Step 1: One person signs up as the team leader (you’ll add your teammates in our simple online system) and registers their team (up to 6 folks).
  • Step 2: Choose an older adult to help from our Service Saturday map portal — with over 150 homes across the Denver Metro area waiting for a helping hand.
  • Step 3: Show up at 9:00 AM for check-in at South High School to grab tools, coffee, and donuts before heading out to serve your chosen home(s).
  • Step 4: Wrap up the day at one of our Celebrations of Service — return tools, share stories, and enjoy refreshments:
  • Denver: Junction Food & Drink (2000 S Colorado Blvd)
  • Jefferson County: Edgewater Public Market (5505 W 20th Ave)

It’s that easy, get your group together for an incredible day of giving back and connecting over generations.

When: Saturday, November 15, 9:00 AM
Where: Check-in at South High School (1700 E Louisiana Ave, Denver)

Join us and help older neighbors stay safe and independent this winter while making memories that matter.
