Tubing at the Clear Creek White Water Park in Golden!

Let's go tubing down the Clear Creek White Water Park!

If you haven't been tubing here before, this is a fast-moving creek, so this will be a more high-adventure tubing trip rather than an easy float. We can meet by the Volleyball Net at Parfet Park at 11 am, and you are welcome to bring coolers, but there is no alcohol allowed at the park, no pets, and obviously, no glass containers.

Feel free to bring a volleyball, frisbee, footballs, corn hole, ladders, and other fun park activities. I will bring a volleyball and a football.

We will walk up the river on the nice sidewalk about 1/5 a mile to a mile up and then put our tubes in and go down the river and end back at the park where our cars are.

Also, please wear river-appropriate shoes like Chaco sandals that surround your whole foot and plenty of sunscreen. :)

The river rat tubes are awesome and inexpensive to use for this creek: Google river rat tubes Walmart, and you will find them. They are green, white, and black!

You can rent tubes at Adventure West River Tube and Ebike Rental & Tours, which is right across the street. Tubes are $24 online & $25 walk-up on the weekends, and the website says it is best to make reservations ahead of time.

I would blow your tubes up beforehand to save on time, or get there early to do so. You can do that with mattress pumps, air compressors, or at gas stations. You can also Google where to blow them up, as well, and lots of specific options in Denver come up.

We can also go to a brewery or Woody's after we tube if anyone needs a refreshment or food! ;)

I am aware of the risks of participation, which include, but are not limited to injuries from tripping, falling, bruises and scratches from rocks, exhaustion, sunburn, allergic reactions to the animals, or any other injury sustained while volunteering. I understand that participation in this event is strictly voluntary, and I freely choose to participate. I understand that Laurel Resneder is a volunteer/organizer and is not making any monetary profit from this event or from the "Young-er Wino Adventurers" Meetup Group. I understand that this is a legal document and that I am giving up my right to sue or otherwise make any claim against Laurel Resneder, the group's sponsors, and any other person officially connected with or helping organize this event and that I am responsible for any medical or other costs that I may incur as a result of my participation.
