Hometown Hotpot & BBQ specializes on hotpot and BBQ with hints of authentic Malaysian flavors. With eight in-house hotpot broths, ranging from mild to spicy, and marinated proteins in Hometown Special Sauce, the assortment in textures and flavors will transport your taste buds to the next level.
The All-You-Can-Eat extensive selections feature fresh seafood, quality meat, wholesome vegetables and finest ingredients from the neighborhood market. To turn your hotpot and BBQ game up a notch, we have customize-your-own sauce stations that consist of over 20 kinds of carefully selected sauces, ranging from traditional satay sauce to contemporary western peanut butter.

Casual but charming, our two-floor dining quarter features exposed brick, wood details and wall art inspired by Penang, Malaysia. With over 180 seats and ample dining space, we ensure a comfortable Hotpot and BBQ experience for any occasion.

RSVPs: Please do not RSVP No. You only need to RSVP if you want to come to the event. Please don't RSVP unless you are sure you can go. I notice the people who RSVP and then cancel, which is not fair to everyone else. I reserve the right to give priority to people who don't do this in the future. I'm not trying to be mean but it makes it much harder for me when people take spots and then cancel either quickly or last minute. Obviously more notice is better, but please try to only sign up (for waitlist as well) if you know you can come. Note that if you habitually cancel you will be removed from the group.
Even if the meetup is full, please put your name on the waitlist. I will let you know if a spot becomes available. Also, if there are a lot of people on the waitlist, it lets me know which kind of restaurants are popular so that I may schedule more of those in the future.
Please note that meetup events are strictly for members. No +1s are allowed as reservations are made in advance and spots are assigned. First time members must confirm in writing that they will attend. Individuals that are no shows are immediately banned from the group. Additionally, those who do not respond to messages will be removed from the group.
Lastly, please be aware that there is the potential for an event to be outright canceled or rescheduled last minute when low enrollment falls to 1-2 due to last minute cancellations or non-enrollment. It is the responsibility of the diner to check their messages, (I message individuals in this instance), and the event page to make sure the event is running. Thanks.
