The place is now decorated for the upcoming Deepavali (Diwali) so it is the ideal time to get some colorful snaps, explore the bazaars, and the historical and cultural locations!
Join us as we explore the area, zig-zagging our way through the side streets and alleys to find hidden sites, historical places, different architectures, unusual shops, and more!
In addition to the meetup guided tour, there are several options you can explore individually or as a group:
Pre-Meetup Option A:
Check out the Indian Heritage Centre Open House which will be having many special activities and free snacks (while stocks last:) in addition to the museum exhibits. Free admission. See details here:

Pre-Meetup Option B:
Energise yourself before the walk with some delicious Indian food that is not easy to find in the heartlands. Diverse and affordable options are at the Tekka Hawker Centre. If you like varied vegetarian Indian food check out the nearby Ananda Bhavan or Komalas/Komala Vilas restaurants for affordable fare.

Meetup Time: 7.20 pm (Intros and Orientation)
Walk Start Time: 7.30 pm

Attire: Dress for comfort and walking.
To bring: A full water bottle to rehydrate and a cap (in case of drizzle).
In case of rain, the event might start later or be postponed.

Please NOTE: Due to the number of participants and ongoing activity, the guide will not be able to respond to individual messages once the event starts. Late comers should catch up using the Live locator OR through chats with other members on the Telegram group.
