Walk, Chat and Relax: Geylang River, Mountbatten and EastCoast Park

Join us for a relaxing walk along the scenic and winding Geylang River, the luxurious Mountbatten Estate, and the beautiful East Coast Park.

The walk along the ample greenery and beside the waters is a calming experience. Also you might get some nice pics of the sunset along the beach if its not cloudy. And if you are eagle eyed, you might see some unexpected wildlife!

At the same time its an opportunity to meet new people and chat about Life, the Universe and Everything, or just walk in silence as you wish :)

Of course, we will end with a meal, and more chatting, for those who are hungry in body and mind.

Meetup Time: 5.15 pm -- Introductions and Orientation.
Meetup point: Tanjong Rhu MRT, Exit 2 Street Level.
Walk Start Time: 5.30 pm

Attire: Dress for comfort and walking.
To bring: A full water bottle to rehydrate and a cap (in case of drizzle).
In case of rain, the event might start later or be postponed.

Total walking time: about 2.5 hrs
Route: We will go east along the Geylang River in front of Tanjung Rhu estate, towards the Mountbatten Estate, and then cut across to Katong Park and continue eastwards along the East Coast Park.
End Point: Marine Parade Central (Marine Parade MRT)
Optional Post-Walk Dinner and Chat: At Marine Parade Central Hawker Centre.
