Walk, Chat and Explore: Indian Heritage Centre and Environs (Pongal Festival)

The Indian heritage Centre (https://www.indianheritage.gov.sg/en)
is having an Open House as part of the Pongal (Harvest) Festival celebrations. And its free entry for ALL* !

In addition to the usual museum exhibits, there will be special cultural and other events inside the centre and also along Cambell Lane.

Its an opportunity to explore the museum, the activities, and the surroundings which are at the heart of Little India.

At the same time its an opportunity to meet new people and chat about Life, the Universe and Everything, ....or remain in silence as you wish :)

Of course we will end with a meal and/or kopi and more chatting for those who are hungry in body and mind.

Meetup Time: 4 pm
Meetup Point: Inside the Indian Heritage Centre at 5, Campbell Lane. Singapore 209924.
Exploration Start Time: 4.15 pm

Attire: Dress for comfort and walking.
To bring: A full water bottle to rehydrate and a cap in case of drizzle.
In case of rain: the event might start later or be postponed.

Total walking distance: about 1.5 km
Total exploration time: about 2.5 hrs
Tentative Plan: We will check out the heritage centre and the activities inside, then Cambell lane, and finally the immediate surroundings.
Optional Dinner and Chat: At some budget friendly and inclusive place nearby.
Optional Post-dinner Exploration: Depending on participants interest.
End Point: Near Little India MRT or Farrer Park MRT depending on preference of participants.
