About us
🐉 Bristol GOAT Format & Classic Yu-Gi-Oh!
Welcome to Bristol’s home for old-school Yu-Gi-Oh! fans!
This group is for anyone in and around Bristol who loves the classic era of Yu-Gi-Oh!, particularly the GOAT Format (2005), and wants to meet other local players.
Whether you’ve been playing for years, recently returned to the game, or still have your childhood deck tucked away somewhere, you’re very welcome here!
🃏 What we’re about:
- Organising casual GOAT Format meetups in Bristol.
- Playing using the classic April 2005 Forbidden & Limited List.
- Welcoming people to bring their childhood Yu-Gi-Oh! decks for nostalgic casual games.
- Meeting fellow fans and making new friends.
- Sharing deck ideas, cards, memories and all things old-school Yu-Gi-Oh!
🤝 Our meetups
The aim is to create a relaxed, friendly environment where everyone can enjoy playing Yu-Gi-Oh! without the pressure of competitive tournaments.
As we’re starting from scratch, our first meetup will only go ahead if we have at least 4 confirmed attendees. If we don’t reach that number, an update will be posted on the event page the day before.
Let’s bring classic Yu-Gi-Oh! back to Bristol!
Duel like it’s 2005!
