What we’re about

Want to make your own jewelry? Come to our workshop and we will teach you how to turn a rock into a polished stone ready to use in jewelry making!

The YVGMS has a fully equipped workshop staffed with volunteers, who will walk you through the process and show you how to use the equipment, so you can create your own unique polished stones. Our Non-profit club teaches lapidary, sphere making, wire wrapping, silversmithing, beadwork, lost wax and sand casting and also hosts rockhounding field trips several times a year.
