We will be talking about petrified wood! If you have some pieces and stories to share about your treasures, bring them and share!
We will also be talking about Camp Paradise, the CFMS jewelry camp held near Clipper Mills, CA held the last two weeks of August. The first week is full, but there is still room for the second week of camp.
What else will we have at our meeting-
- Field trip information
-Ways and Means Raffle - very interesting prizes - tickets $0.25 ea or 5 for a $1.00,
-Silent Auction featuring assorted slabs, rocks, and other cool stuff.
-Bring a rock you can’t identify and see if one of our members can help you identify it. Mystery rocks lead to many interesting opinions and discussions!
-Learn about upcoming field trips and club news.
-YVGMS Meetings are Free and Open to all – plus, we have refreshments!
