It's Spring Equinox and Los Angeles finally has enough water and a snowline to green our hills and meadows.

Come enter the forest (sacred Hahamongna now Pasadena's Watershed Park) for a walkabout and art paint out, honoring the Tongva American-Indians with Hahamongna Plant Nursery and Arroyo Seco Foundation's Tim Brick, the Conservancy's Tim Martinez, and others local land stewards.

Learn about the local flora and fauna -- the healing plants, mushrooms, and wildlife of the foothills -- and have a special energy healing (Reiki and Jyorei) offered by Seven and Cathy.

As we gather near JPL and the Gabrielino Trail next to the Pasadena River (or headwaters of the old Porciuncula, now the Arroyo Seco), we will sit, enjoy yogic Ecstatic Breathwork, and socialize.

(Yes, a large river runs through Pasadena even if few know about it and the city is doing much to divert and block it so that it nearly dries up before reaching the Rose Bowl. This riparian environment will be introduced to participants to protect local habitat and welcome spring.)
