Details
Zen is the most popular kind of Buddhism yet few understand it, instead replacing it with emptiness, iconoclasm, or free-form "whatever." Zen is an ancient tradition, as UCLA's Prof. Buswell so well explains in 'Zen Monastic Experience: Buddhist Practice..." Zen does not rely on paradoxes, koans, or clapping. There is a point It's a style of practice to get cool, calm, and collected. It's as easy and impossible as Alan Watts and D.T. Suzuki made it out to be when describing it to Western practitioners. (SEE: https://wisdomquarterly.blogspot.com/2019/03/what-is-zen-for-one-who-practices.html). Zazen followed by socializing and vegan snacks and drinks.
