One X-mas Lisa Simpson got sick of Christian consumerism and corruption during the holidays. In Episode 6, Season 13, she wants to know the meaning of life. She wants enlightenment. She wants freedom. She finds it in Buddhism at the Springfield Buddhist Temple with Richard Gere and the 14th Dalai Lama, Lenny and Carl, and her conscience.
