Details
Speaker: UC Berkeley Professor of Plant Biology and Microbial Fungi Tom Bruns looks at how mushrooms interact in forest ecosystems. Some of these interactions have direct and obvious effects on forests, whereas others are subtle yet equally significant. This talk will guide us through examples to make the point that forest systems are inescapably fungal systems. FREE.
LAMS (Los Angeles Mycological Society) is a non-profit group fostering and expanding our understanding and appreciation of mycology, the study of mushrooms and fungi (lamushrooms.org).
