The Festival of Lights (Diwali)

India has many colorful festivals, like the celebration of the Buddha Shakyamuni's thrice blessed birth, great enlightenment, and final nirvana known as Vesak or Vesakha. More widespread, like a kind of Xmas, is "The Festival of Lights" (Deepali or Diwali). The celebration will be held on Thursday, Oct. 20th at 7:00 pm.
