Come party at the Winter HOOTENANNY with the Contemplative Creativity Lab
Details
Contemplative Creativity Lab invites one and all to its 4th Annual Winter Hootenanny. Bring a story, poem, photo, or creative endeavor to share. All expressions welcome. We'll begin with a word play, so bring a commonly spoken childhood phrase.
“Hootenanny” is Scottish for "celebration" or "party." Nowadays the word commonly refers to a gathering at which any and all are welcome to offer for about five minutes. Sing a song, tell a story, perform a poem or spoken word in front of an audience. No experience necessary.
Art teacher Angie Lloyd, MFA explores how HUMOR, silence, and speech create a safe container for interrelated art experiences for the body, mind, and speech. It's the element of surprise that matters. Angie is a master storyteller, musician, and an award-winning recording artist (https://www.angelalloyd.com/).
