Zen Meditation Boston | Somerville
·HybridThe Zen Art Center, 86 Joy Street, Studio 5R, Somerville, MA, US11 attendees from 1 groupJoin Zen Master Sebastian Rizzon for a live exploration of how creative practice can become meditation. We’ll look at how writing, art, music, movement, martial arts, and other forms of focused activity can train attention, strengthen concentration, and bring greater clarity into everyday life.
This session is especially relevant for artists, meditators, and anyone who finds traditional sitting meditation difficult or wants to bring mindfulness more fully into action. The teaching will include guided meditation and Zen inquiry, along with practical ways to work with distraction, creative blocks, mistakes, and the relationship between flow, focus, and the nature of mind.
All are welcome to attend, regardless of prior experience or background. While the class is free of charge, donations are greatly appreciated to support the Zen Art Center's mission to cultivate inner peace and harmony in the world. Your generosity enables us to expand our schedule of offerings and continue serving our community.
