Zen Jogging is the new initiative from the Zen Art Center and the Mind Light Way School of Zen and a form of moving meditation. It is not about speed, distance, or competition—it’s about presence and sustained awareness in every moment.

This gentle group movement practice invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body, nature, and community. Whether you walk, jog, or simply move mindfully, the intention is to practice mindfulness in a supportive community that meets you where you are.

We will be lightly jogging around Horn Pond (this will take about 45min) and everyone will have the option to do add a 20-min walk around the pond to cool down. 10-min out of these 20-min will be for silent walk.
This is a fun, easy way to move your body and reconnect with yourself and the natural rhythm of the world.

Come as you are. No pressure, no speed, no performance —just presence.
The event will start promptly at 1:11pm!

The event is free and donations are very much appreciated!

The Mind Light Way School of Zen is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to continuing the Zen lineage and enduring tradition that seeks to illuminate the truth inherent in nature.
In our community, through koan practice, sitting meditation, moving meditation, and creative expression, we learn to engage our mind to draw wisdom directly from the unfolding nature of every moment.
