Join Zen Master Sebastian Rizzon for an evening of Zen meditation and Dharma teaching in Somerville.
This talk explores the Zen question “Where are you?” as a practical way to look at stress, mental clinging, fixed ideas, and the habit of over-identifying with thought. Through guided meditation and clear teaching, this evening points to a simpler approach: seeing what you hold onto and learning how to let go.
It also looks at the difference between what feels comforting and what is actually helpful in practice. Rather than adding more beliefs, rituals, or techniques, Zen training helps you return to direct experience, steadiness, and clarity.
Open to both beginners and experienced practitioners, this is a grounded and approachable event for anyone interested in meditation, Zen, Buddhist practice, or working more directly with attachment and mental stress.
The evening includes guided Zen meditation and a Dharma Talk in a calm, supportive setting.
While the class is free of charge, donations are greatly appreciated to support the Zen Art Center's mission to cultivate inner peace and harmony in the world. Your generosity enables us to expand our schedule of offerings and continue serving our community.
