Actually, I Have A Problem Understanding Myself
Tagline: Before I ask others to understand me, can I understand me?
For a long time I asked: "Why doesn't anyone understand me?"
Then a better question came: "Do I even understand myself?"
Why do I jump, and jump, and jump?
Why do I hold so tightly to a piece of wood in the sea and call it my savior?
Is it God saving me, or is it my own determination to stay safe until I see what's next?
This meetup is for people who are tired of explaining themselves to others, and want to start listening to themselves.
Trauma teaches us that our body can remember what our mind has forgotten. So sometimes ADHD, anxiety, or feeling lost isn't a flaw — it's a record of the sea we swam in.We won't diagnose. We will dialogue.
3 Core Questions We Will Explore:
1. What is the "wood" you are holding onto right now to stay safe?
2. What part of you is still jumping, even though your mind says you are safe?
3. Am I ready to deal with all circumstances — or am I ready to be honest that I'm not?
Flow of the program:
- Grounding & intention
- My story: From "understand me" to "understand myself"
- Small group dialogue (if necessary!)
- Harvest: What did you learn about yourself tonight?
Rule: No advice-giving.
Only "I hear you, and in me..."
if i just wish to listen, i will be there to silent and listen.
This is for you if you feel like you're doing inner work, feel a bit stuck between old beliefs and new awareness, and want a safe circle that doesn't try to fix you.
Which one feels more like you?
