Some of the most fundamental questions, and the concern of a multitude of religious and philosophical theories, are questions about the basic facts of human nature. Philosophers pondering what makes a good human life and a good human society either implicitly or explicitly base their proposals on an understanding of human nature. Oftentimes, those theories also reflect an unexplored but influential understanding of nature itself.

During this meeting we will discuss the relationship between nature, human nature, and what ethics or society designs are important for achieving a good life.
