JULY: Silvretta Hut-to-Hut High Alpine Tour (T3/T4)

Join in on a multi-day mountain hiking tour in the Silvretta region.
The idea is to hike from Guarda GR via Chamonna Tuoi CAS, Jamtalhütte DAV and Heidelberger Hütte DAV to Samnaun GR.
The tour is mostly on T2-T3 trails but with one section being T4. The overnight stays are foreseen at the huts named above.

With spending several days together and T4-sections en-route, I think it is best that we talk with one another before finalising things.
Plus: With the cancellation policy of the huts, I cannot afford no-shows. Therefore, I need to collect the accomodation cost beforehand.

In many of the past years, the annual multi-day tour did not even make it onto Meetup, because long before that moment, a recurring group had already come together.
But this year, for many of the the «usual suspects» the timing is not suitable.
So, after several years of the annual mountain tour being «under cover», this year offers the rare opportunity to join via Zurich Hike & Outdoor.

OVERVIEW:

• Silvretta region
• 4 days, 3 nights, Monday 13.07.2026 to Thursday 16.07.2026
• From Guarda via Chamonna Tuoi CAS, Jamtalhütte DAV and Heidelberger Hütte DAV to Samnaun
• Most of the tour is T2-T3, but on day 3 (Jamtal to Heidelberger) there are T4 sections en-route
• You need to be an experienced mountain hiker, having done a T4 before, be comfortable with the data given for the tours and understand that an alpine club hut is not a 4****-hotel.
• Total cost ca. CHF 300.- (train tickets and overnight stays with dinner and breakfast) plus x.
