Holzegg to Einsideln hike

Alpine Panorama Trail – Stage 5: Holzegg → Einsiedeln
A scenic and challenging hike through the Swiss Alps, offering breathtaking landscapes.
Route: SchweizMobil – Stage 5 Path: Start in Holzegg, finish in Einsiedeln.
Distance: 19 km | Ascent: 860 m
Duration: ~6–7 hours (with breaks) | Difficulty: Moderate to difficult
Meetup: 8:20–8:40 at Gleis 9, Zürich HB Departure: Train leaves at 8:43 on July 5th (Sunday). Buy a ticket to Brunni SZ (Talstation Holzegg). From there we will take the cable car to Holzegg.
Bring: Plenty of water, lunch/snacks, sunscreen, rain jacket, layers, sturdy hiking shoes, trekking poles (optional).
