
About us
What it is. A small group in Zurich where the people who make the food and the people who eat it actually meet. We gather around the producers behind soloquando.ch for tastings, kitchen visits, and the occasional batch day where you can stir alongside the producer.
Why we started it. Most food arrives from nowhere in particular. Soloquando is the opposite. Eleven jars for eleven neighbours. Not one more. The meetup is where that promise gets a face. You learn whose Sunday produced the jar in your cupboard, and why the recipe is the way it is.
How it works. Roughly one gathering a month. A producer hosts, walks us through what they made, and pours something to taste. Groups stay small (eight to twelve people) so the conversation stays real. Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Quiet software does the counting and reminding in the background so the evening is just food, people, and questions.
