Fully booked-Seealpsee hike-Appenzell

Hi everyone,

Let's visit the iconic Aescher cliff restaurant in the Appenzell mountain region.
Berggasthaus Aescher-Wildkirchli : Appenzellerland Tourism

This is a circular hike starting at the train station, around the lake and up to the famous Aescher cliff house. We will have a picnic lunch along the way. There is the option of taking the gondola down or hiking it down.

Length: 13 km
Ascents/Descents: 1000 m up/880 down or gondola down
Hiking time: 4-5 h
Fitness level: intermediate/advanced
Hiking difficulty: T2

I will bring my dog, he is a cute and friendly cocker spaniel.
