Tasting Through Time: Wines of the 70's, 80's, 90's, and Early 2000's (English)

Join us on Thursday, 20 February at 6:00pm – 9:30pm at the Zürich Wine Academy for our annual Tasting Through Time Event! We will taste 7 extremely premium wines from the 1970's, 1980’s, 1990’s, and early 2000’s, masterly pairing wines with the music from the era!
Light refreshments will be provided. We afford time at the start and conclusion of the event to get to know the other event participants and meet new wine-loving friends. This is a judgment-free learning experience, and no prior wine knowledge is required! The event will be in English.

Our MasterClass facilitator, Joe B, will bring the wines to life with his extensive background in the subject. Joe earned his Certified Sommelier qualification from the Court of Master Sommeliers – Europe, achieved the Level 4 Diploma in Wines from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET), graduated from the Burgundy School of Business Wine & Spirits MBA Program, and is an Italian, French, Spanish, and Sherry Wine Scholar with the Wine Scholar Guild. Joe is furthering his education as a Master of Wine (MW) Candidate.

We will host this experience at the Zürich Wine Academy at Werdstrasse 8, 8004 Zürich, only 50 meters from the Stauffacher tram station in Zürich's Kreis 4.

Space is limited to 12 participants. We do this to allow you to have an intimate discussion with our wine expert and to drive the conversation to topics you want to learn about and discuss. It's the ideal environment to learn, connect with like-minded people, and make new friends. We hope to see you there!

Event Policy: We know how plans can change. Please contact us at least seven days before the event to reschedule for a future event or receive a full refund. For cancellations within seven days, we must charge 25 CHF per ticket for the food already ordered through our catering relationship. Thank you so much for understanding.
