Join us for a relaxed day trip to Akashi, one of Hyogo’s most charming seaside cities!
We’ll spend the day exploring Akashi at an easy pace—walking through historic areas, enjoying famous Akashiyaki, visiting the seaside, and taking a café break along the way. The goal isn’t to rush from place to place, but simply to enjoy the day together through conversation, food, and a bit of exploration.
Whether you’re new to Himeji, looking to meet people, or just want a refreshing change of scenery, you’re very welcome to join us!

Event flow
1️⃣Meet-up & departure (Himeji) 🚆
We will meet-up at 8:30 at the JR Himeji Station in front of the main gates and head together to catch the 8:40 train to Akashi.
2️⃣Regroup in Akashi (~9:05) 👥
After arriving, we will meet up with anyone joining us in Akashi at the station before heading out together.
3️⃣Akashi castle & park visit 🏯
We’ll start the day with a relaxed walk through Akashi Park and the castle ruins.
4️⃣Uonotana Market District 🐟
Explore Akashi’s famous shopping street and enjoy the local atmosphere.
5️⃣Lunch 🍱
Time to try Akashi’s most famous local specialty!
6️⃣Seaside Walk 🌊
We’ll head toward the coast and enjoy views of the sea and Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.
6️⃣ Café Break ☕
A relaxed café stop to rest, chat, and enjoy the afternoon.
7️⃣ Return to Himeji 🚃
We’ll head back to Himeji in the late afternoon.

Participation fee: 700¥
All transportation are food are self-paid.

💡If you are running late, we will take the planned train a but you can meet us later in Akashi!
What to expect
🚶Walking: ~6-10km
⏱️Time on foot: ~3-4 hours (with breaks)
🌿 Relaxed pace with plenty of time to chat and explore
☀️ August can be quite hot and humid, so please bring water and dress comfortably
☔ As it is also rainy season, a small umbrella or rain jacket is recommended just in case

今回は、兵庫県の海辺のまち・明石への日帰りおでかけを企画しました！
歴史ある街並みを歩いたり、名物の明石焼きを楽しんだり、海辺を散策したり、途中でカフェ休憩をしたりと、ゆったりしたペースで明石の魅力を満喫します。
観光スポットを急いで巡る旅ではなく、「歩いて、話して、美味しいものを食べて、一緒に楽しい時間を過ごすこと」が目的のイベントです✨
姫路に来たばかりの方、新しい友達を作りたい方、気分転換したい方など、どなたでもお気軽にご参加ください！

当日の流れ
1️⃣集合＆出発（姫路）🚆
8:30にJR姫路駅中央改札前に集合し、8:40発の電車で明石へ向かいます。
2️⃣明石で合流（9:05頃）👥
明石駅で現地参加の方と合流し、全員で出発します！
3️⃣明石公園・明石城跡散策 🏯
緑豊かな明石公園をのんびり歩きながら、明石城跡を訪れます。
4️⃣ 魚の棚商店街散策 🐟
明石ならではの活気ある商店街を散策しながら、街の雰囲気を楽しみます。
5️⃣ ランチ 🍱
明石名物の明石焼きを楽しみましょう🐙
6️⃣ 海辺散歩 🌊
海沿いを歩きながら、明石海峡大橋や海の景色を楽しみます。
7️⃣ カフェ休憩 ☕
途中でカフェに立ち寄り、のんびりお話ししながら休憩します。
8️⃣ 姫路へ帰宅 🚃
夕方ごろに明石を出発し、姫路へ戻ります。
