Meet the micro:bit

Details
Nicholas Tollervey will give a talk on MicroPython and the BBC micro:bit. He should have some example devices with him, and perhaps some peripherals.
His aim is two-fold:
• Testing and feedback on MicroPython on the micro:bit
• Idea and resource generation kickstart
Stealing freely from the PyConUK website:
"Nicholas is a freelance Python developer, classically trained musician, philosophy graduate, teacher, writer, organiser of the PyConUK education track, founder of the London Python Code Dojo and PSF ambassador to the BBC micro:bit project. He enjoys spending his copious free time playing the tuba or hacking on distributed hash tables."
There's an interesting interview with him at:

NOTES:
The venue for this one meeting has been moved to Makespace, who have volunteered their classroom so that we can fit more people in. See more about them at https://www.meetup.com/Makespace/. (https://www.meetup.com/Makespace/)
Directions: See the map at http://bit.ly/1GMx5rG . Makespace is accessible via the 16 Mill Lane car park, which is the larger car park nearer the river (not 16A, the smaller car park, even thought the map makes that look more sensible). The door is right at the back of the car park, on the far right, near the marker on the map. You want the left hand door (not the "University Offices" door on the right). There's a door bell marked Makespace.
There's bicycle parking at the venue, but we're not allowed to use the car park. The nearest car parking is either at the Grand Arcade, or along the Backs/Queens Road, or in Newnham.
We're hoping to have around 15 micro:bits.
Nicholas says that people should please bring laptops, with Python 2.7, and a micro-USB lead.
We shall supply pizza for the meeting.
Please remember to unRSVP if you can't make it, to help us know how much pizza to provide.
