Speaker Bio:

Philippe Marie-Jeanne is a graduate engineer of the Polytechnique School, but also graduated from the National school of Statistic and Economic Administration (ENSAE) and member of the French Actuary Institute (IAF). He also follow an INSEAD executive program in 2006 (Programme supérieur pour Dirigeants).Before being Head of the Data Innovation Lab (Axa Group) that he created on January 2014, Philippe Marie-Jeanne was Group Head of P&C Retail since 2011. Before joining AXA Global P&C, Philippe Marie-Jeanne was since February 2007 P&C Technical Head at AXA France.

Xavier Conort is the Chief Data Scientist at DataRobot, a venture-backed predictive analytics software company. Xavier has applied Machine Learning to diverse business problems ranging from churn prediction to claims modeling, flight arrival prediction, essay scoring, sales forecasting, and biological response prediction. To sharpen his skills in Machine Learning, Xavier competes on Kaggle and in KDDCups where he won 10 prizes. Before joining DataRobot, Xavier was principal research engineer in I2R and has an extensive experience in the insurance industry as an actuary in France, Brazil, China and Singapore.
