Announcing a new meeting for The Calgary Boardgames Meetup Group!
What: Drop In Table Soccer (Subbuteo)
When: Sunday, April 20, 12:00 PM

Who should come: We welcome anyone who has an interest in sports games or has even heard of the game of Subbuteo before.
Why: Once you play it once, you'll be hooked.
Meeting Description: 11:30 am - setup
12:00 pm - brief run down of rules and playing tips from former world Champ D.Baxter
12:30 pm - 4:00pm - play as many matches as possible (Each game lasts 20 minutes. The club has 2 playing surfaces or pitches, so 4 people can be playing at the same time.)
***Don't worry about having your own equipment, the club has numerous loaner teams for people to use and enjoy the game.
**For those interested, but unsure of what the game is like, videos of the game being played are all over Youtube. ( just do a search for 'Subbuteo' and away you go.
